Kevin has done a really fantastic job, planning, project managing and leading multiple trades to carry-out a major refurbishment of our home. We enlisted Kevin’s help in June having been let down at short notice by two previous build contractors.
Kevin was able to quickly assess our architects plans and drawings and agree a competitive price for the required works within a week. We needed Kevin to start the demolition phase quickly, to get our schedule back on track, and true to his word his team started on site 2 weeks later.
Over the next 14 weeks Kevin completed a comprehensive build programme on budget, including a two storey extension (kitchen and master bedroom/en-suite) & foundations/new roof, conversion of an integral garage into a new entrance and large hallway, full electrical re-wiring and new LED lighting scheme, upgraded central heating including underfloor heating, re-plastering (including removal of artex and fitting of cornice), re-positioning of most internal walls and doors, retiling of the old roof, full refit and tiling of new main bathroom, en-suite bathroom and ground floor cloakroom plus large designer kitchen and replacement of old UPVC windows.
The works were signed off on schedule, with no remedial actions, by Cheshire East Council Building Control.
Kevin and his team(s) have been readily available, reliable, courteous and always willing to offer advice and cost effective options throughout the build programme. We’re extremely happy with our new home, the quality of workmanship and finish. Our family, friends and neighbours have been extremely impressed with the end result.
